Faifley Church Hosts a Health Expo Promoting Wellness and Community Involvement
Faifley Church hosted a Health Expo on the 18th of August, building on the momentum of the previous weekend's evangelistic series 'The Evidence'.
The event attracted numerous health enthusiasts who participated in a range of health screenings, including blood pressure checks, blood sugar monitoring, and assessments of height, weight, and BMI. Attendees were particularly eager to discover their "health age" and showed enthusiasm for following the personalised recommendations they received.
The expo featured informative health talks that highlighted principles from the 8 Laws of Health, focusing on nutrition, hydration, and a spiritual element emphasising the power of forgiveness.
Attendees also enjoyed a generous selection of refreshments, including a variety of fresh fruits, water, and hearty soup, all of which were well received.
A special highlight of the event was the involvement of the Pathfinders, who played an active role in inviting the local community to participate in the event. They distributed leaflets in the surrounding neighbourhoods, helped with event setup, designed and displayed posters illustrating the 8 Laws of Health, and supported the initiative throughout the day. Their contributions, along with the collaborative efforts of the entire church family, were instrumental in the success of the Health Expo. Faifley Church extends thanks to everyone involved.
